tuning lambda in neutral?

Post by Honda_TypeS_10 »

Is it okay to check lambda values to adjust accordingly when my car is in my garage in neutral and revving to the specified RPMs or is this a BAD idea?

That is not a good way of testing. It should be done while driving under laod or on the dyno.

Hi Spunkster,
Thanks for the fast response.

I have a 2010 Civic Si running a MAP tune. For dialing in fuel LOW and fuel HIGH, can I start off by disabling VTEC for the fuel LOW and drive around the block to change the lambdas? Is that the correct way?

Thanks again.
