K pro crk sensor intermittent interruption problem

Post by Kirill N »

Ive got a very weird problem i have a 2002 honda civic si ep3 with a built k24a with a turbo and k pro on the stock ep3 si e cu and ive had a crk sensor intermittent interruption and limp mode and i just cant get it out i have tried changing the sensor and now i have a k20a3 crank sensor in and it gives me like about 10 seconds apon start up of all normal values then the idle goes weird once the check engine comes on and it gors into limp mode and starts to run weird but before that it runs flawlessly and the sensor works 100% wiring is good and i even tried to directly wire the sensor to the ecu and it changed nothing i checked my timing its in time my crank trigger was on correctly and it was the correct one and i even changed the crank pulley because it had some knaring on it but to no change what ither options could it be other rhan the ecu? Im trying to find someone i can ask to test the ecu on their car im just clueless now please help with any ideas or any solutions.

First thing is to try the ECU in a known working vehicle.

Yes im looking for someone to try the ecu in their car but im just wondering what other things other than the ecu could be a problem like could the tdc sensor for example be giving a bad value and like im getting a wrong code or something is that possible?

Until you have tried in a working vehicle to see if the problem follows the ECU it is hard to say.
