Hi all, got a flashpro for my 09 CU2 recently and I'm trying to figure out some issues with the basemap.
The car is pretty much stock, only mods so far are secondary cat delete and intake resonator delete.
The problem(s):
1. At WOT (columns 9-10) the engine runs extremely rich above VTEC switch point (5000rpm). WOT lambda table is stock, set to 12.46 but actual AFRs drop as low as 11.5:1 (AFR adj. sensor) on high cam. Plugs and exhaust tips are covered in soot so it's not just the factory O2 reading rich. I can't lean out the adjustment table any more without the ECU running in closed loop at all times (not good) so is there another way to adjust fueling in this region?
2. On a stock ignition table I'm getting massive knock counts (100-150) around 2500-3000rpm part throttle. Knock control is pegged at 100% but outside that region I'm not getting any detonation. Tried pulling 1-3deg out of the ignition map in affected areas and the knock count halved but it's still around 60-70 after 30min of driving. I can make it go up like a stopwatch by intentionally hovering around 3000rpm @ light throttle.
What I've done to the map so far:
-Adjusted AFM voltage map based on S.TRIM
-Hondata VTC tables from '12 Si Hondata reflash (same engine same cams)
-Pulled 1-3deg of ignition from 2500-3000rpm low cam map
-Reduced overrun fuel cut delay
-Throttle plate table from '12 Si Hondata reflash
-7600rpm fuel cut

I would switch it to run on speed density. You could also make it run in hybrid mode to use the AFM down low and the MAP in the higher cells.
