Recommendation map for a completely stock 2008 Civic Si?
Recommendation map for a completely stock 2008 Civic Si?
Just bought Hondata as the first mod for my car, planning to do full bolt on’s in the future but decided to start with Hondata to wake the car up. Would I be fine running the stock base map on hondata? Or can anyone recommend me a map to run for now until I get future mods? Thanks a bunch.

Hi. Will that map work on FN2?
I am asking because Group N is even worse than the stock. Ignition timings are awfull, VTC tables are not smooth. At low engine speed car is not pulling at all. After 70mph on 6th gear acceleration is weak. Fine tunning fuel maps - did almost nothing.

No that calibration will not work with your ECU. You must use the FN2 calibrations.

First Post and complete noob to Hondata.
I came here to ask the same question as above. The civic Si as far as I can tell is virtually identical to the FN2 (engine wise) K20Z3 and K20Z4. Could Fuel, ignition, cam tables etc be copied over from a stock Si tuned map to the FN2 Group N map safely, as a better base map?
Calibrations attached, if anyone could advise it would be greatly appreciated.

It might be best to create your own thread and add a bit more detail. What car are you running? What is your goal for copying tables over?SamGTR34 wrote: Tue Jun 24, 2025 8:54 am First Post and complete noob to Hondata.

Hi Ed.
Thanks, I will do that. Been having a play and using autotune. I will start a new thread as it would be really great if someone who knows what they're doing could check my calibration and tables.
Sam.
