K24A2 6 MT LSD 87 Integra

Post by Nasty Nate »

I have a 1987 Acura Integra project with a K24A2 from a 2006 TSX and a 6 MT from a 2006 Civic SI
I have the engine and transmission mounted in the chassis using Cheddas mounts
I need to figure out wiring and ECU
Can I use an aftermarket wiring harness?
Do I need an 02-04 RSX ECU?
Can I buy an ECU with Kpro from Hondata?
I sold the TSX and SI ECUs last year. I do have an 08 SI ECU but it seems to be too new.
Thanks for any information

You would need an 02-04 RSX engine harness, ECU and can then use the K-Pro with it.

To purchase the K-Pro you must go through an authorized dealer listed at: https://hondata.com/dealers?route=infor ... nformation

You will have to supply the ECU as we do not supply ECUs.

The additional wiring in the vehicle you will have to figure out.

Thank you for the information. I know I have to figure out wiring from the drivetrain to the car for gauges and such. I'm curious why I need an RSX wiring harness, instead of buying something new from the aftermarket so I can have new wires and connectors. What makes the RSX harness unique? Also, I'm trying to post pics but apparently the file sizes are all too large.

The RSX harness has the correct plugs for the ECU and all sensors to work correctly. Aftermarket harnesses can be a gamble.
