hondata fuel pump question

Post by rainy187 »

I post the question here is because i use flash pro, i can't find any where else to post this question.

i installed the hondata fuel pump kit for my 2018 accord 2.0 AT yesterday, and went for a test drive. toward the end of the test drive the engine stalled, after i parked my car and try to crank, it won't start. However, after i power off the car and start it again, the car can start.
i have attached the log, i can see all of sudden DIFP went to 0, can anyone tell me what caused this please

Check the installation of the pump to make sure that it is getting fuel

Yes I did read the instruction, and checked the log (log attached in the previous post)
and I can't figure out why this happened, I am hoping this won't happen again, especially on the freeway.
Lets say if this happen again, then what should I do?

Inspect the pump, check the wiring connector and the o-rings in the pump outlet are installed correctly.

It happened again, and the log file is attached.

is it if the wiring is not connect properly, then the pump will not function at all? it was the spacer + two O rings and pushed in all the way, if it didn't go in all the way then the cap will not lock into the place.

should I ask for an exchange?
