S300 rev limiter issue v2

Post by vdgmarc »

Hi all, on a hillclimb Civic with B16B with S300, I have strange sporadic issues. Sometimes the rev limiter switches to on for an unknown reason. The rest of the time, everything ok.
Looking in the logging coupled with the mapping, I don't see any reason for this.
Any idea? Mapping and logging attached.
Thanks

When did the problem start and what has changed on the vehicle since it was last working correctly.

It's there since the beginning of the engine.

Beginning of the engine was early '24.

If it is sporadic, then it may just be a wiring related issue. Try the ECU on a known working vehicle and see if it works correctly.

I thought to that as well, but in the logfile, you can see that it is a command by the ECU. Meaning that it's not a misfire, unfortunately.

You should still try this in a known working vehicle.
