Hello, I've been having some problems with my car the past few days. I had it tuned on a dyno about a week ago and was running fine until a couple days ago.
The car was tuned to a maximum of 19psi and has a 14psi tial spring. When I accelerate (a good 50% or more it starts to hesitate, almost like a vibration. While hesitating I have no more power but it will keep going. If I throttle easy and keep boost below 14-15, revs will continue to climb cleanly. Nothing was touched since the tune, just happened all of a sudden.
I've tried a new solenoid, different map, checked connections and grounds, adjusted fuel pressure and tried disabling launch control.
This afternoon I had a thought to disconnect the electrical connection to the boost solenoid and left the vac lines as is.
This time when I floored it it hit 14-15psi again but there was no hesitation. I didn't get full power with out 19psi being there but it felt like it was back to normal again.
In the datalog you can see the rpm get jiggly around the end of the wot line in the first half of the graph. And again around the 50% throttle area. That's when the problem is happening.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. This has been eating at me.
- 2004 Honda Civic LX D17A1
- Serial I can get if needed, not at the car right now (absolute pain to get at)
- Version of software being used 4.6.1.0
- ECU part number does this mean the OEM part number?
- KManager version 4.6.1
- K pro sourced from an rsx about 5 years ago and rma'd about a year ago.
Thank you!

Have you talked to your tuner about this issue?

Re: Hesitation at spring psi. Boost controller
I've been trying to for the past 5 days and they have not replied to me. That's why I'm on here as a last ditch effort before I have to try and find another tuner. They replied once after the tune but nothing since.

Trust me, it's very frustrating going to a highly reputable shop in Toronto, paying nearly $1,000 for a tune and getting no support afterwards.
