Re: Fresh engine little smoke no start help
Ensure that you have sufficient fuel in the tank. If the fuel level is low, add fuel and try starting the engine again. Additionally, inspect the fuel lines and fuel filter for any clogs or leaks that may be impeding fuel flow.Drift Boss

Re: tp sensor voltage
If the Bosch TB has a different signal ratio (not inverted like OEM but in the same direction, or different voltage range), the ECU will detect the mismatch. hole io

White smoke makes me think it's trying to run rich, that or it's burning coolant. I would pull out your maf sensor and see if it's covered in oil, it's a kinda common thing that can happen if you try to add oil too quick.

Re: 2025 Civic SI compatibility?
I think your 2025 Civic Si may not be officially supported by Hondata FlashPro yet, which could be why it's not recognizing the vehicle.

Re: KPro V2 won't communicate
What troubleshooting steps can I take to resolve the communication issue between KManager and the ECU, considering that the drivers are installed, the USB connection is recognized, and I’m receiving an error message regarding incorrect ECU USB information?churchracersja wrote: Sat Nov 18, 2023 8:23 am a specific description of the problem: KManager won't communicate with the ECU. Driver's are installed. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers with no success. When testing the USB, I get the message, "The ECU USB information is incorrect (Recovery PID)". Attempted to update, but the update failed. Solid green LED on the KPro board when connected (red LED flashes for a split second when connected and immediately shuts off) and the USB shows up in my computer's device manager. I'm not sure what to try next or if the ECU or KPro board is in need of repair. Can you guys offer any advice?slope

Re: K24a2 NA VTEC engagement
RedEcho wrote: Fri Apr 11, 2025 4:56 pm Hello, does anyone know if you can simply change the vtec engagement point from 5500 to 4500 on the hondata app by just changing the numbers? I have a full exhaust and intake and the vtec is way too high, what do I need to do in order to change the vtec engagement on the hondata without getting it dyno tuned.
Thank you
Technically, you could just input the new VTEC coupling point and upload it to your ECU. However, this doesn't mean it's optimized. You need to consider the impact of air/fuel ratio, map usage, and data logging.

Re: Question about Setting up TSX 2010 AT
Only reduce it moderately if you are certain it is a knock. Geometry VibesHowever, do not reduce it to zero or turn it off completely. Instead, limit the knock control's impact on ignition timing if you are using a stable fuel such as LPG.

						Any suggestions?
I have a USDM EP3 Si and I bought the car with the Kpro v4 installed and when I opened Kmanager it was on the USDM Si factory setting by hondata, I designed a pop tune for the car and worked fine however when trying to load the factory tune or my new 2 Step for launch control the car just cranks and wont start, however when I put the pop tune back on starts just fine. Any suggestions?

						Any idea?
Having an issue where it seems that due to something with vtc it is pulling fuel and runs into lean protection.
Disable vtc and does a clean pull no issues..
A friend also had this problem and never resolved it, he just ended up running it without vtc enabled.
k24, turbo, e30, kpro v4

Re: Idle fuel pressure tables for DE5 and Fl5
Providing an idle fuel pressure table for the DE5 Integra Type S and FL5 Type R will help improve idle behavior and stability.snow road

I tried all that too—no lucktkapk Seems like unless the controller's plugged into the PC, the paddles are pretty much dead weight. Would be awesome if Moonlight supported Elite profiles natively, but for now, no real workaround that works right.

Re: Traction Control Mods
Totally get that—it's a lot at first, but you're on the right track.wireedmmachines Just take your time with the settings and tweak little by little when you're ready. Sounds like you're doing great so far!

						Re: Spark plugs
It mostly comes down to how much power you're making—general rule is go one step colder for every 100hp over stock. So if you're still mostly stock, just stick with stock heat range. Boosted or tuned? Then go colder. NGK plugs are always a safe bet too.

Re: Basemap for 2012 Civic Si Kraftwerks Kit
Hey man, I ran almost the same setup on my ’12 Si — same Kraftwerks kit with ID1000s and a similar exhaust — and the “ILX cte supercharger 1000cc” basemap can work to get you to the tuner,Retro Bowl but it’ll probably run a bit rich and the timing won’t be perfect. I’d keep it out of boost as much as possible. If you want, I can dig up my old basemap that got me safely to the dyno — just let me know!
