Type r FK8 log stg2

Post by Dani7792 »

Hi at all, I have a fk8 type R november 2018 with some mods, I have intake prl street maf, inlet pipe prl, intercooler prl, dp invidia fully decat central resonators delete and sparks hks superfire. I Run 98 RON only I'm from europe and last week I bougth and realise remote tunning from my car and I have some questions about the calibration.

I dont send calibration because tunner closed by password but I need give me an opinion on some log of the car ( I'm afraid that this calibraton be unsafe to my car)

This afr and boost pressure is safe ?

I upload two logs of the car at cruising speed and wot in 3rd and 4th gear

In 3rd about 4200rpm enter Honda traction control because I'm going to sport mode and not disconnected fully traction control

Thank yout at all.

It looks ok. No knock. Fuel pump not maximum. Wastegate not closed. Fuel trims are acceptable. Lambda perhaps leaner than normal a bit. Boost is fairly high; it might make more power with less boost.

thank you for helping me, I was afraid to afr 12,5-12,7 because for example in base map it was to 12-2 12-3 I thinking that calibraton was so leak. I don't know because tunner insert 28 psi in stock turbo but if you think that its reliable.. I will be able to sleep more peacefully.

Anyway I'm trying to learn to create my own setting with basemap 98 RON.

thank you so much. Regards

If your tuner makes the mixture right with that boost level the fuel pump will be reaching the maximum easily. If it was me I would turn down the boost to around 1.7bar, add some fuel ~11.8 to be on the safe side and give just a bit more timing.

hi fkay8 for your answer. My tuner (he made bunch of type r) don't answered.... when you pay the calibration and he finish his work It seems that he no longer wants to know anything about his clients (incredible) so I need to find a real good tuner to calibrate my fk8 at remote tunning...... the car goes nice but I need to fix a pair of things in this calibration and The tuner doesn't answer my messages.....

Support after the tune is complete is something to keep in mind. It is also possible they are busy, especially if they run a shop. I would be able to help out if the tune was not locked.
