H22a with s200 in an Integra

Post by Lan »

I just did a swap into my integra, wiring is all good but I am wondering what may be wrong.
Here is the problem:
The motor cuts out at 6k right after vtec which engages at 5500.
Here is what I've got:
Hondata s200 brand new hasn't been tuned
I don't know the ECU which sucks- The stamp on the ECU has been taken off. Could this rev limit have something to do with the ECU? Or could it have something to do with the ECU not being vtec? I dunno what the ECU is. If this is really vauge I apologize, I am just very confused about this stuff. Thanks in advance!

Is the check engine light on, if so, what is the error code?

I actually got a new chip burned but I have a new question. I plan on getting a tune on Friday night and I was wondering if you could answer another question. (I apologize in advance for never replying) I have been too Busy on Honda-Tech  Is the Hondalogger easy to use? I need to check a ne CEL I got and I want to make sure I can fix my car before Friday. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. TIA :)
