K24a swapped map

Post by jt_fg2 »

Hey guys! New to this entire forum thing here, but I had a question and would love anyone's input and help. I recently finished my swap due to my old engine snapping a rod and destroying itself. Being an auto tech, I was able to use the shop for the swap. I got a JDM K24A2 and used both the bottom and head, stock internals, and RBC manifold. I even swapped out the 50 degree cam. I've got a short ram Takeda intake, unknown brand race headers (no cat), full exhaust, k24a2 oil pump. I was reading through the forums and the closest one I was able to use was the Sebastian.SD.Rev14 (Blended)(Vtec4200) due to not being able to find a similar tune using the actual 50 degree cam. Seems to be running nice but I just wanted to verify with someone's professional opinion since I don't know jack about tuning yet haha. I'll be more than happy to go and run logs, I'd just like a list of things I might have to do first, i.e, how long to drive for and if I need to do any pulls between any rpm ranges in a certain gear. Side question, with the Sebastian.SD.Rev14 (Blended)(Vtec4200) is being used. Does it automatically turn off VSA? I've had the VSA and yellow triangle on after uploading that tune.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice! -Jonathan
