Questions on capabilities and "Clear DTCs" Functionality.

Post by sgpfl5 »

After a possible missed shift, I wanted to investigate if I over-revved.
Had a couple of questions around the capabilities of the Flash Pro software with my Flash Pro Mini on the 2024 Civic Type R.
I hooked up the Hondata Flash Pro mini to the car and booted up the software as soon as I got home (No CEL).

1. Is the Flash pro mini and Flash Pro Manager capable of reading/seeing code P0219?

2. I was fumbling around to find the OBD2 menu item. Worried I may have accidentally hit "Clear DTCs". Is there a confirmation modal or window that pops up when you click "Clear DTCs" to prevent mis clicks in the most current, non-beta version of FlashPro manager?

3. It is my understanding that P0219 is a permanent code stored in the ECU. Can the FlashPro manager along with the flash pro mini view "historical" codes that have been cleared to turn of the MIL or codes stored in the ECU? If so, how can I view those?

I appreciate the support and insight in advance. I apologize if any of this comes off as elementary. Still learning.

Yes it is.

There is no confirmation when clicking on the clear DTCs from the online menu.

If you click on the OBDII diagnostics form the online menu you can see much more detailed diagnostic info.
