FlashPro Compatibility - FL5 -> DE5

Post by michaelbov »

Hi Hondata team and community,

I just recently acquired a 2025 Acura Integra Type S. I also just bought a use flashpro from a friend who had it on his 2023 type R and 2020 type R. I was wondering if I could still use this on my Type S once it's unlocked. I have an image attached with the flashpro information. I look forward to hearing from you all!

Thank you for the quick response. With that, I now have a new question lol.

Is there any FlashPro trade program so I can trade my FlashPro for the Acura Integra Type S flash pro?

No, we do not have any trade-in program.

I have an FL5, but picked up a DE5 ecu to clone as I want to keep my original as backup. I’m assuming I still purchase the FL5 Flashpro since it will be a jailbroken clone? Can anyone confirm before I purchase?

I am unsure if this will work. You'll clone the FL5 data onto the DE5 ECU, so it will show as a FL5 ECU, but when try to reflash it will actually be a DE5 ECU.
