Have a weird question regarding uploading a calibration on my 2008 civic SI. So I recently installed a Hybrid Racing CAI 3.5 (just the intake, no headers or exhaust). It was recommended to use the MAP based race calibration which I uploaded “map based AEM V2 CAI” but when I loaded (programmed) it to the car the tachometer didn’t move from 0-9 like it usually does, but the program light on the flashpro came on blinked stayed on and for a min or two then turned off. I assumed it programmed the ecu, right? Just wanna make sure it’s ok that the tachometer does need to go from 0-9 like it’s uploading. When I use the regular AEM V2 CAI calibration, the tachometer moved but this time it didn’t. Is that normal? Car started right up and no cel lights came on.
Anything helps, thanks!

Re: Hybrid Racing CAI in 2008 civic si
Race calibrations do not do that and are no longer supported or updated. It is best to use an AFM based calibration and set to use MAP based tuning in the calibration.

How do you set the MAP based tune in the AFM calibration?

It is in the fuel section of the calibration window.

I’ll take a look at that. Thanks for the useful information! Appreciate it!

You are referring to the “use speed /density (MAP) fuel tables” correct?

Cool, I will give that a try! Thank you!
