I too just got this, fresh install on a brand new laptop, my other ones all have this same version and their all working.
so maybe something with the hardware being too new ? Also tells me usb drivers are not working. i dont have a S300 to plug into as of right now.
that expiration date def seems a few decades ago lol

If you go to the Help menu and check for updates, then close and reopen the software does it still say out of date?

This has been fixed. Also we are releasing a new version, but they are not related.

So reporting back, the new version was released and now that the software saw a new version available the "expired" mode completely went away and the new expiration date changed to Feb 17, 2025. essentially fixing all issues and software now works normally. didnt even have to download the new software to fix it, just the fact it became available fixed the issue. but yea im upgrading and hopefully that bug got resolved for future versions.
