Hybrid Racing KPro Question EP3

Post by EP3_Zae »

So I send my stock ep3 PNF to Hondata via the Hy rid Racing site. I am getting the clear security error and upload error so I’m assuming this was an instillation error on my part. Note I am swapping a Tsx K24a2 into my EP3. Should I contact Hondata directly or ask Hybrid about how I can get the ECU looked over? I don’t have any local friends or family with a k swapped car that could test the KPro in. Oh I also repined the crank sensor so KPro would real correctly, my map sensor is also reading -28. Where should I start?

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

What has changed in the vehicle since the last time it was working?

Full motor swap, from k2a3 to a k24a2. Still have oem ep3 harness just pinned at crank shaft and map sensor extension. I also have a type s harness if need be

Since the swap & KPro I have yet been able to upload a base map due to the security clear error and upload failed.

It sounds like something may have been wired incorrectly and damaged the ECU, K-Pro or both.
