CARB FlashPro Features?

Hello,

I have a 2015 Honda Civic Si that I intend to keep street legal. I live in NJ and I am interested in a CARB FlashPro. I have a few questions that I hope can be answered as I searched the forums and could not find full clarification.

Note: I am CLEAR that the CARB version is very limited, but I am not interested in the Race version as it is not street legal.

1. I believe the CARB version includes two maps, yes? Can someone elaborate on what differences did Hondata make to the drive of the car with each?

2. What changes can I make manually with the CARB FlashPro?

3. Can I alter VTEC engagement?

4. Can I alter throttle response?

5. Can I reduce rev-hang?

6. Do any of the two maps address the points above?

I appreciate the response. Will it specify what changes can be made?

My experience is very limited and it would be great if there was a simple listing of features available by Hondata versus just downloading the software, which can be a little overwhelming for someone with no experience with it. Please let me know.

If you install the software and open a CARB calibration you see exactly what is available to be changed. You can also open a race calibration and compare it to the CARB calibration to see the differences.

How does this increase horsepower on a stock or modified ninth GEN Civic SI if it cannot change the air and fuel maps?

I know on the turbo models. The CARB can increase boost. But this one is not a turbo car.

Changes were made to ignition and fuel but have been tested and approved by CARB. You cannot alter these settings as it will affect the emissions.
