Hybrid Racing intake base maps

Post by Ducky0928 »

Hello. I I’ve just installed a hybrid racing cold air intake on my 2006 Fg2 Honda Civic Si. I only have the intake and hondata flash pro and don’t intend on going beyond that. I’ve done some basic research and understand a MAP base tune is required. I see a handful of base maps within hondata flash pro software.
I’ve read that you can load the Map based Aem V2 calibration as a base map. Will those preloaded Map base tunes still throw off the Fuel gauge and Oil life percentage?

Do anyone else have a good Map tune I can download for just the 1 mod?

Thank you

I would advise against using the race calibrations as there were made before you could enable MAP based tuning in an AFM based calibration.

Can you give instructions on how to run a Maf based tune with the Map enabled?

Open a non-race calibration and in the fuel section of the calibration window you will see an option to use speed/density (MAP) fuel tables.
