Kpro ecu compatibility

I am looking to purchase a core ecu to install kpro for my eg coupe k swap (k20z3 w/ 05 civic 5 spd trans). I wanted to confirm my understanding before purchasing

I referenced https://www.hondata.com/tech-alternativ ... ngine-swap and https://hondata.com/kpro-product?route= ... uage=en-gb and found a 37820-PPA-A54 ecu, will this work for my swap and kpro core?

Yes it should work, but you will still need to make the changes as stated in the link about alternative ECU for K-Pro.

Thanks for the reply. To confirm my understanding, I need to do this because its an auto ecu right? If i were to find a manual then it would work without extra wiring?
