About FL5 hpfp

Will the load of fl5 hpfp be more than 90% used like fk8? Can hpfp of fl5 be installed on fk8?

If a modified FK8 with FBO installs the FL5's turbo, can the fuel pressure table be adjusted from a maximum of 200 bar to 180 bar?

Sure.... but why ask about FL5 pump when you wanted to just swap the FL5 turbo?

My FK8 has been fitted with the FL5 turbo and a higher flow HPFP. During a dyno pull up to 7000 rpm, everything ran smoothly. However, when I took it out on the road, a noise similar to the one in this video (https://youtu.be/7amYHiUKWpc?si=q-j9vTIkPf5IEGJr) appeared, but louder. I swapped the HPFP back to the original one, and the noise disappeared. I tried this twice with the same result.

When I reverted to the stock HPFP on the FK8 and did a dyno pull, the DIFP started to drop significantly at 6300 rpm, which I assume means it maxed out. I noticed that Hondata’s calibration for the FL5 fuel pressure table has a setting of 180, so I’m wondering if increasing it to 180 might allow for more fuel delivery.

The turbo response of the FL5 is better than that of the FK8, starting to spool about 500 rpm earlier, which improves overall performance significantly. The FK8’s transmission gear ratios are closer than those of the FL5, making it feel quite good to drive.
