Locked to vin or ECU serial number?

I had the unfortunate luck of hitting a deer in my Si. Afterwards, I have some electrical issues that a shop is saying is caused by a failed ECU. I ordered a new one that will obviously be programmed to my car. My question is, since the ECU will contain my vin info will the flashpro work with the new ECU? Or is this another expense I'll have to eat buying a new one?

Do you have the ECU that the FlashPro is locked to?

What is the FlashPro serial number?

I do have the ECU it's locked to but there is no communication with it. I'm unable to unpair it. The FP serial number is
FP-SI-US-238064

My car is K24 swapped with DC cams and full bolt ones. IDK if it'll even run on the stock cal.
