Hello, my Smanager is unable to upload calibrations and datalog (the option is greyed out). My IAT and ECT is also reading at 302 degrees, and the TPS is unresponsive to throttle changes. The bottom left window reads "On Line" and I have the car in the "accessories" position.
I have a reconditioned P28 (socketed with PWM) from HA motorsports. All capacitors have been replaced and j12 is de-soldered. I unfortunately purchased this ECU 2.5 years ago (but never installed it until now) so it is out of warranty. The s300 chip was purchased through teknotik, and it has been registered. Thank you in advance!
S300 serial number: 61286
Smanager version: 2.7.6
Calibration: Stock Z6 basemap
chassis: 1998 civic ex (canadian)
ECU: P28
Mods: d16z6 in a 98 civic, ECU has R136 & R138 removed, D10 enabled for wideband, generic amazon OBD2A to OBD1 jumper harness

Re: S300v3 Socketing issue?
I currently have my P28 on my bedroom table, hooked up to my laptop. It behaves the same exact way as it did when hooked up in my car (values stuck at 302 degrees, TPS stuck a -12). Possibly the issue is with the jumper harness? Ill be going through it looking for continuity and checking if the wires are terminated to the correct pins.
Re: S300v3 Socketing issue?
Your software is out of date. You need to download and install the latest software at: https://hondata.com/software?route=info ... nformation
If it still does not work properly, then try your s300 in a known working ECU.

Re: S300v3 Socketing issue?
I uninstalled Smanager and reinstalled through the link you gave. The download says it's version 2.8.7, and so does the top left corner of the software when it's opened. But the "S300 information" window still reads "Version 2.7.6"...
Re: S300v3 Socketing issue?
That is the last version of software it was uploaded to with.
Re: S300v3 Socketing issue?
I do not have access to any socketed ECU that is confirmed to be functional. I tested the socket pins for continuity(everything was fine). would purchasing a Hondata socket tester be the next logical step? I also noticed my wideband doesn't turn on when the car is put into "ignition", Power is to A25, the Negative is to A26 and the signal is to D10...
Re: S300v3 Socketing issue?
If the wideband is not powering up, then it sounds like there is a problem with the ECU getting power. Did it ever run with this ECU and the current setup?
Re: S300v3 Socketing issue?
Never ran this setup in my car, it's my first time around....
Ended up going through the helms service manual for a 92-95 civic. Ended up being a blown 15A under the hood...
Thanks for you for serving the Honda community longer than I've been on this earth spunkster🫡🫡
