hey everyone. super new to this whole tuning realm. I tried reading up on it but I just don't get the whole tuning aspect to compensate for knocking. if this is even something to be worried about. i data logged a few rides and before today i had no knock on cylinder 4. as of today, on my way home from work cylinder 4 knocked 110 times! the engine didn't seem hesitant at all and I didn't hear anything but then again i was going 75 so i probably wouldn't of either way. anyways.. i went for a ride and data logged for about 30 mins and it only knocked 29 times. im just not sure if this is something i should be worried about or not? and i want to understand how to fine tune the base maps hondata gives us. i did the stock, tuned calibration. i have an invidia q300 cat back on my car and that's it. super basic. but id really like to know how to make the most of it without having to go and buy a tune somewhere. can anyone take a look at my data log and give me some advice? please? lol😂😂

Re: help with knocking
If you are experiencing knock you need to reduce it in the areas where knock is happening. Look up evans tuning on YouTube. He has a few videos that may help.

Re: help with knocking
Thank you, I will do that tonight. One other question. Some days I have little to no knock but for example, today, I had 205 knocks on cylinder 2. All happened while at minimal throttle while doing around 65mph. I’m going to pull plugs tonight to see if they look beat.

Re: help with knocking
It’s strange that it’s isolated to 1 cylinder. Double check nothing is loose.

Hey @jvanetten14, have you found a solution to this? I'm also seeking guidance to my knock issue.
