Lambda Overlay not working

Post by b-radg »

Hello,

Kpro4 here in a 2000 Honda S2000

2 separate issues (1st one fixed via workaround):

1.
I have installed an APSX D1 Wideband connected to the Analog Pin 0. I initially configured it as a "Custom" conversion and put the voltage/values in there.. 0v=9AFR, 5v=19AFR. This worked for like 10 min and then after closing down the laptop and restarting Kmanager (Using latest 4.6.0), the display values randomly flipped to numbers fluctuating in the 2-300's and I couldn't get it to read properly after that until I switched it to "Wideband - Techedge" conversion which now continues to work just fine.. I am just lucky that the techedge shares the same voltage conversion so I guess I can leave this as is. But why no custom conversion? This now leads to part 2 of my problem:

2.
I cannot get the lambda overlay working, it wont populate the table. I have selected analog 0 input as the wide band in options->settings->wideband input. Am I doing something wrong? Is overlay only working for the ELD pin?

Change the minimum throttle to -30 for the overlay settings and it should display.

Can you try opening and closing the setting window and see if that results in the lambda overlay being shown?

Tried that, no dice. I hooked the wideband back up to the eld wire, and thats not working either... so Im thinking something is definitely wrong on the software end, I notice a couple other people recently started threads having the same issue.

I have old kmanager versions V3-2-5 and V4-4-6, can I safely erase the ecu and upload an older kal with one of those, and do some tuning in the meanwhile? Im guessing V3 dont work with Kpro4?

You should not use old versions of software.

Ok it works now, the issue was the Minimum cam angle being at 0.. I put it at -30, now it works. You said minimum throttle, but you must have meant this...
