I have a 2018 Honda Civic si, and I have a question regarding Hondata's off the shelf +6 psi basemap (enabled by sport mode).
I have noted a "strange boost ramp" both in and out of sport mode. After reflashing the car, I had thought my issues were resolved. My rich WOT AFR seems fine now, but I still have a strange fuel mapping/jump. The boost pressure and power will be higher at partial throttle vs WOT.
I can see that as I ramp up the throttle my target AF and AFCMD values suddenly jump from ~14.7 to 11 between 80% and 90% throttle. The boost command also suddenly drops ~2psi once at full throttle. This is the issue I had thought was from the ""Throttle | Sensitivity" setting in Hondata, however even after I disabled this feature and reflashed the car it still persists.
Long- and short-term fuel trim stays +/- 5%. I apologize about the poor-quality images, but if anyone wants to take a further look, I have a zip file of my logs attached.
Log004_Image at 83% Throttle:
Note that this was taken without sport mode enabled. Boost pressure & command @ ~20psi, AFR @ 14.7, no knock, -14deg of timing.
Log004_Image at Wide Open Throttle (90%):
Note that boost pressure and command is now @ 17psi, AFR @ 11.0, no knock, -9deg of timing.
Is this normal? I feel like this is just how the tune is pre-set, and I have reinstalled Hondata numerus times, and gone through as much as I can to fix this issue without modifying the fuel tables/map itself. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
