Still Getting Mis-Fire Codes
I am getting misfire codes almost everytime I drive. I have a k20a2 with the greddy turbo kit running 8psi. kit was just installed a few weeks ago. After fixing my idle problem, now I am getting misfire codes in all cylinders and a random misfire. All at the same time. It always seems to come on when at idle or at low speeds. I do not hear the misfires. Car runs good. I am saving up money to get it tuned. Is it safe to drive like this until then? any suggestions? Also my last run I had 8 knock counts. I went in to the ign table and pulled back 2 degress right before each knock count. I only drove the car for a 2 hour trip after making this change and I did not get any knock counts, but again at the end of the trip, at idle, misfires codes again.
I forgot to mention. After I got the first mis-fire code i thought I was running rich, which I was. So I replaced the plugs with NGK BKR8EIX and removed some fuel. Then no misfire codes for abouth 3 days. then they came back and have not stopped. i have not checked my new plugs yet, but they are only like few weeks old.
