Does a failed upload mean the previous calibration is intact?

Post by Babalouie »

Silly question :-)

If you get a failed upload (Code 0x27 Step 7 Address 0x000000), is the previous calibration still intact?

Or does the new calibration half-install, and you end up with a bit of the new calibration and a bit of the old calibration?

(The ECU status has the green check, it's not in recovery mode).

Old calibration is still in the ECU. Step 7 usually means that you just need to power cycle the ignition. Or the ECU has been previously reflashed by someone who has changed the security keys.
