.fpcal vs .fpmod help me to understand
SO I have had my Hondata for a couple of years now and have successfully utilized it to load 'canned' tunes into my FK8 based on the mods I have done. Life, work and other things had gotten in the way but I have had some time lately to make some changes particularly since the pops and bangs mod has been issued. I loaded the pops and bangs mod as it was written and I find it a little too aggressive. A local FK8/FL5 forum has experimented with some different settings and tamed it down a bit. I made the changes to the fuel cut delay table as they suggested and it was too tame. I decided to bump up the values from where the forum guys landed but I am having a hard time navigating what/where and how to use the .fpcal and .fpmod files. I have consulted the 'help' file but I still don't understand it. Are you able to explain the differences and when where these files are used?

fpcal files are the calibration files
fpmod files are custom mods to a calibration file
Unless you are a tuner you probably will not be creating your own fpmod files.

Re: .fpcal vs .fpmod help me to understand
Okay so now I think I have it. Just open the .fpcal file I previously created or make a new one, change any mods I want in the modifications table, it will show that it updates then hit okay, save and exit. It will automatically save that change to the .fpcal file I loaded previously. Then I can specify that file to upload to the Flashpro once plugged in. Then just upload that file to my ECU as a primary or secondary tune.
Thanks for clearing that up!
