Uploading primary and secondary calibrations to the FP

Post by csp34@juno.com »

I finally figured out how to upload a primary calibration to the Flashpro from my desktop. It has been while since I have done anything with the Flashpro so it was a bit of a (re) learning curve. However once I found the file (canned tune with the updates to allow the pop and bangs) it has been uploading for 30 minutes or more. It appears to be still loading while I am sending this. I do not have the FP plugged into the car and the goal was to upload to the ECU later as per the instructions. Should the upload my the desktop to the FP take this long? My task manager does not show excessive CPU usage. Oh and the 'datalog' light on the FP is blinking.??? How long should this take or is there an issue. I have an older FP Manager but it updated.
Thanks!

It should not take long to upload to just the FlashPro.

Does the FP give an indicator that it has completed the upload when it is done? The spinning timer icon is still spinning and the data log light is still flashing as if it is still communicating. Any harm in aborting this and trying again?

It should not hurt anything. Details are in the help file at: https://hondata.com/help/flashpro/uploa ... ration.htm
