Flex Fuel - Base Map

Post by Rose »

Hi there,

I am currently driving a 2018 Civic EX-T, Manual Trans, with a few mods.
I just recently got my Flashpro installed, and also the PnP E85 Flex Fuel kit.

While combing through the basemaps, I do not see anything for a 2018 Civic EX-T MT Flexfuel.

Anyone have any recommended basemaps I can try out? Or will I have to finetune myself in the calibration software.

Any and all input is welcome

Thank you

PS: The only basemap calibration I believe fits my vehicle specs would be as followed:
Civic Turbo MT 2017+ , 265kpa max, 100 octane minimum
Civic Turbo MT 2017+ , 265kpa max, 93 octane min
Civic Turbo MT 2018 Base Calibration

Should I simply use the base calibration, tweak the calibrations that I would prefer (such as improved turbo response) and then enable ethanol input?
Would the Flashpro do the rest for me safely?

There is a 9psi flex fuel calibration you can use, but you will probably need to upgrade your clutch for this.

Hey Spunkster,

Is the basemap you are referring to:

Civic Turbo MT 2016, +9psi Flex Fuel. Clutch upgrade highly recommended

If so, is this safe to run on the 2018 Civic?

(Follow up question: Are you able to use basemaps from a different year so long as they are still 10th gen and match the parameters of my 2018?)

Thank you for your help :)

The file is provided by Hondata. When selecting a file change model to Civic 1.5T (2016-2012) and change vehicle to Civic 1.5T US 2018 MT. Once you do scroll though the tune files and select the one mentioned in the thread.
