Hi,
I have a 06 Honda civic Si with a k&N SRI. Other than that, the power is all stock like stock header and exhaust etc.
I see Hondata offers a k&N SRI base map. How safe is it to run that base map without a ETune or dyno tune for track days?
I take my civic si to the race track for track days and I do consistently run the engine at 6k ish to 8k ish rpm for the whole sessions and do push the car to its limit.
Would I break my engine if I use a Hondata k&N SRI base map?
Thanks!

You will have to check the AF ratios to make sure they are safe and that you are not getting knock.

If you post the calibration and a datalog I can take a look and let you know how the car is running.
