Itbs + 43 error code

Post by LittleH »

Hello guys , my setup is a b20vtec and it had stock b16a2 intake manifold with a 70mm skunk2 tb , worked great , stock injectors , stock map , ect and frp and stock fuel pump.

I put some itbs with rdx 410cc injectors. now I am in the process of tuning the car and randomly the mixture is getting very lean and 1 time only it threw the 43 code , but it happened twice last night and 2 times in the last 2-3 days.

Haven't changed any of the sensors just that the map is in the firewall connected to open air , no vacuum (I dont have a vacuum box at the moment) , I can connect it to a single vacuum though (if needed).

My tables are Alpha-N , calibrated tps but I did not change anything else.

can the fact that my map sensor is connected but not connected to anything cause that issue?
If I restart my engine its fine , although sometimes it needs to let it close for a couple of seconds/minutes.

Injectors are brand new from honda so I know they are good.
fpr is good (the one I used before)
I use innovate wideband so I don't think that could be the issue.
Stock fuel rail.
the fuel filter has low kms and my mechanic said its not time yet. (haven't had any issues).

Maybe I need to do something in the tune or is it hardware side?

you need a vacuum block and it must be connected to the MAP sensor.
