- a specific description of the problem:
running open map.
Everything seems to be in order, car turns over but runs rough for a few seconds then dies.
After I installed the engine harness, I noticed I had 12v running to the tps/map so I swapped that back to 5v by pulling off VCC.
I also tapped 5v +/- from map sensor to fuel psi sensor.
Map psi doesn't seem to move at all after starting. I have no iacv but throttle is cracked a bit with set screw (about 1.5k rpms).
Any ideas? I'm thinking maybe my kpro is fried because 12v ran to map/or TPS but I don't know how to verify. Everything in Kpro seems functional.

Re: kpro map sensor issue?
Does it work with the OEM MAP sensor?
Re: kpro map sensor issue?
The polarity was reversed. Which fried both my sf 4 bar and stock sensor. Just picked up a sensor from the yard and I'm seeing what appears to be proper data (alot of fluctuating around -20psi on cranking). This engine harness I picked up (eBay - never again) is very sus. Now I see CAM pegged at 107 when camcmd is 0. This doesn't seem right. Different issue though so I'm going to close this one out and start another post if correcting timing and verifying polarity/pinouts/sensors are operating correctly. Thx Spunk
