Hey Spunkster, sorry for late reply. I’ve gotten my speedo problem (kinda) fixed. I bought and wired in ktuned all in one speed converter, and now I have a dash reading. The dash reading also seems accurate and no correction is required. However, after attempting to engage vtec yesterday, I couldn’t as I threw a speed sensor code. I have the alternative speed input selected on kpro just as the directions say. I’m confused as I have a dash reading that’s completely accurate but can’t engage vtec because of the speed sensor. Thoughts?

Are you getting a speed sensor reading in your datalogs?

No, I’m not. I have no reading under both my “vss” sensor and “vss input”. Like I said my vss signal wire is spliced directly into the kpro board how it should. I think the issue is within the speed converter and how I wired it and the fact my vss wire is spliced directly to the kpro board.
Spunketer, could you give me clarification on if this step should be changed? Should I try unpinning the wire from the kpro board and back into a18?

Hey spunskter. Scratch my last response. I figured out that the multi wire plug that’s provided and has the vss red wire coming off it was unplugged from my kpro board. I plugged it back in and of course problem resolved

Well nevermind.. yet again. After attempting to datalog today I noticed my car was not running well at all and my vss was pegging all over the place. I know the directions list a good starting value but how can I tune it to actually be somewhat accurate?

You will have to try different values to see what works best in your situation and make adjustments as needed.

Hi, I'm running a similar setup and I had to put my values around 10000 km but I switched it to miles and the reading at the ECU was close. You'll have to fine tune it from there depending on your tire size and whatnot. But my question is do I have to get a converter in order for my speedo to work? Is that the only option I have?
