Cruise control

Post by importracer1995 »

After a dyno session my cruise control didn’t work. Drove it to the dyno working and now it’s not working. Cruise main comes on. No lights on the dash and no codes.

Car is a 2018 type R.

Post your calibration here and with everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.

Your calibration is locked. You will need to discuss this issue with your tuner.

This is a common problem that seems to happen once the file has been opened in the software and is automatically converted to another year's ECU ID.

Different DTC's are automatically disabled in this process from the looks, which results in this.

Do you have some more info on this? I have an issue with my cruise control that started after I set a new calibration recently and looking to understand what's caused it exactly. Thanks

Powellrik@gmail.com, your post is exactly like one of the many spam posts we get every day. Please provide more details - FlashPro serial, calibration ID and a calibration if possible.

Serial: FP-CTR-FK8-INT-370952
Calibration IDs: CivicR-2017-UK-98octane-base, CivicR-2017-US-2-93octane-int, basically any I try now.
Calibration attached.
I used the request feedback feature in Flashmanager already to raise a ticket on this.
ACC works but the throttle doesn't re-engage after braking when the car in front slows down, ACC stays active but car throttle doesn't re-engage to reach the desired speed again - acc needs to be turned off and on again for throttle to respond.
Was working fine before I updated to latest firmware/fpmanager from the previous version I was using of v4-1-1 which was when I uploaded the attached calibration - re-applying said calibration does not resolve the issue.

Thank you. BTW sending feedback from the FlashPro does not create a support ticket, but it is helpful in this situation as long as you provide the serial number so we can match them

You have loaded a UK calibration into a Euro ECU.

First return to stock and check that your ECU shows as 37805-5BF-E13.

If that works then check ACC behavior.

If that works then load a stock equivalent Euro calibration and check ACC behavior.

If that works then go back you your 2023 Euro calibration and make the UK changes to it.

Actually I have a UK ECU - as per attached Hondata recognises it as a UK ECU

Unfortunately I am unable to return to stock - as per attached I get the error message:

You cannot upload a UK calibration to a Euro Flashpro - as per attached.

If I try and upload a Euro calibration I get error:

You cannot upload a Euro calibration to a UK Flashpro

The binary in the ECU never was a UK binary - it started out as a 5BF-E13, which is European. Currently it is using a UK G03 binary but the calibrations were US.

Try starting with a 2018 Euro calibration and see if that will upload. It it does, then return to stock so that it goes back to the E13 binary.
