06 Rsx type s VSS and AC

Post by dc5.shifty »

Was wondering if there’s any insight on my issue.

AC:
I have made sure my multiplexer in kmanager is set at normal, brand new ac system, charged and tested low and high. Everything is good as when manually providing ground the ac will cut on. Although on its own my ac compressor clutch doesn’t engage.

VSS:
This was working and now it is not. I previously had an incorrect year rywire harness (02-04 rywire harness) in my 05-06 rsx and although there were many issues that I had to deal with for the time being I managed to repin the VSS to work and never had any issues. Recently received the new correct harness for my year and now my VSS isn’t giving my ecu any signal as in kmanager>sensors>VSS input is 0. I’m assuming this shouldn’t be reading 0.

If anyone has any insight, will be greatly appreciated

Waiting on the person who tuned the vehicle as I’m not the most knowledgeable on kpro (still new to it and not too sure how to get those for you). I will say that I originally had my car tuned with the older harness and for some reason the tune wasn’t ever under an rsx last I looked it was under a different Acura. Not sure if that would have any effect since countershaft driven speed was and has always been selected.

Will try to see if I can figure those out with a YouTube video. Thanks for the response🤙🏾

Just remembered that if I clear the VSS cel, the vehicle in first gear will bounce off what feels like a rev limiter which is where vtec engages. Second gear it will go into vtec and then cel will pop back up and then I lose vtec because it runs off vss.
