Basemap so agresive?

Post by metuskale »

Hello everybody,

After a few months not using the car very much I finally installed the eventuri intake and turbo tube and changed the calibration basemap accordingly.
I then did a launch in 3rd gear to redline and I noticied a few things I find strange:

Here is a point with full open throttle where the fuel pump reaches 100% and the MAP read is 2,92. I imagine that reaching "almost" 100% fuel pump could be "normal" because of the 100% throttle pedal but reaching that point is dangerous because it may no supply enough fuel.
About the MAP reading, I imagine this 2,92 bar is absolute pressure, the run was made in a place where the pressure is about 1 bar so it makes the turbo output about 1,9 bar aprox, isn't it so much?

Can someone please point me in the right direction? I don't mind losing a few CV or NM to be safer with this tune.

IF you are maxing out the fuel pump then you need to lower the air charge so it does not max out.

Yes, I thought it might need some adjustments.
How can I do it? I am still learning and I wouldn't like to break anything.

Yes I did, I understand I have to reduce the amount in the fuel tables but TBH I have no idea on how to do it, should I reduce all values for let's say a 5%?

Or only some of them?

Thank you

Might I reduce the values about 10% in this table?

Would that be enough?

you can try that but may need to reduce further.
