i had an initial hondata tuner that left me with a melted piston and a rebuilt engine. i need someone that can really tune the hondata for a gs-r with cams and a greddy turbo. i live in delaware and dont mind to travel.......a little.
need some help here.
looking for tuner
i always heard it was bad to use large cams in conjunction with a turbo, too much overlap some people say

Cam timing, lobe center line angles?
If you are getting a lot of fuel out the exhaust, I would wonder if the lobe center are too close or if it is just too rich. What size injectors and how hard were you planning on stepping on it. What kind of fuel and how much timing. Also what type of intake manifold and intercooler?

more questions?
Did you tune it on a dyno with a wide band O2? If so, how much power did it make? How much base fuel pressure? What kind of fuel pump? Sorry for all the questions but this stuff is needed to have a clue to figuring out what happened. Do you know how much timing was dialed into it?

nah, i don't know the timing specifics( that would have probably save my pistons) it was 42 psi base. i was spitting out around 270 on 3 and a half cylinders. something was definately wrong because a friend take her ls vtec with the greddy kit and put out 250 at 10 psi. i had way more boost plus cams so i figure i should have been in the 300 range.
