Hello,
I wanted to see if anyone could provide some reassurance on the issue I am having or a possible solution to the problem I have came across, I have a 2007 Honda Civic Si with base map and I notice a problem when the car worms up. Before it would start to worm up by turning on the car and the cars Rpm’s would go up to 3000rpms and gradually go down very normally till the car was warmed up. Now the issue is when the car starts it will go up to 3000 and down slowly but about the 2300rpms there would be a hiccup causing the rpm’s to fluctuate I believe from 2300 up to 2450 and then back down till the car finishes worming up. It’s only that little problem that was not there before and only in around those rpms. I have added new oem Map & Maf & o2 from Honda, 3” exhaust, k&n intake, rdx injectors from hybrid racing, Aem fuel pump. Can anyone please help me? I have tried everything but can’t see where the problem is.

Re: Trouble After Adding Mods And Base Map
Welcome to the forum,
3,000rpm sounds pretty high for an idle. Have you checked if you have any vacuum leaks? What adjustments have you made to the calibration file? The car will run rough if the injector data was not been modified. Post the calibration file you are running and a datalog of the issue so I or anyone else can better assist you.

Re: Trouble After Adding Mods And Base Map
Thank you and I’m glad to be hear. Thank you for the reply. When the car is done and worm the idle is normal to about 900. The rpm’s going to 3000k is something normal for these 8th gen Si so far as I know. I start the car and right away it jumps to 3k. After purchasing the car I didn’t know so the next day I turn on my new car I saw this happen and I immediately called the guy I bought the car from and he said that is just the car worming up, something a never new. Sorry I don’t have a laptop at the moment so I can’t pass any info but the car has the base map that shows K&N CAÍ with race headers and cat back exhaust that is seen on the list of base maps. But nothing has been done to calibrate it. Just putting the correct injector size 410cc and also adjusting the overrun injector restart rpm (cut) & (recover) to 2500 and 3000. But I changed it back and it was still the same. Mechanically I think everything is perfect it’s other then a leaking break deposit cap witch I know need to change and working on it changing the full deposit. Also possibly needing to change the valve cover gasket set but it should be fine. And know vacuum leaks. I have taken everything off and placed everything back on with perfection to try to find the issue but none.

Sounds good. I will be able to give you more insight once you post the calibration file and a datalog.Francisco G *999 wrote: Sat Apr 20, 2024 1:09 pm Thank you and I’m glad to be hear.
