Hello Friends,
As of yesterday, I have joined your community by switching from KTuner to Hondata. My car is a 2020 Civic 1.5 CVT US INT. The Hondata model I purchased is FP-16CIVIC-L15T-INT. After completing the installations, I uploaded the +6 software to my car based on the information I gained with KTuner. However, I am 2 seconds behind my previous acceleration time in the 100-200 km/h range. I think this is due to a lack of adjustment.
That's why I opened this topic. There is very little information on the internet about adjusting the Civic X 1.5 CVT with Hondata. I would be very happy if you could share your knowledge and help me make a good adjustment. I am attaching screenshots of the settings I have chosen in the adjustment screen. Please help me. I want to know what I am doing wrong or missing. In addition, there are two other things I would like to know:
What is the ideal AFR value at full throttle?
What is the maximum IGN value at full throttle?
Parts on my Car:
MST Air Filter
DP and FP Handmade
Rev9 Intercooler
Thank you.

It helps if you post the calibration file and a datalog. This allows us to better assist you.

Re: Switched from KTuner to Hondata, Need Help with Tuning
Greetings,
First of all, thank you very much for your interest in helping me. I am uploading my calibration file and log file for your review.
Background Information:
I live in Ankara, Turkey, where the altitude is 1000 meters.
I always perform my tests in the same location and in the same manner. There is a highway near my location where I have two reference points.
I accelerate from 70 km/h in S mode at full throttle between the two reference points without changing lanes.
I pay close attention to ensuring that the temperature and conditions are the same for each test.
Current Situation:
The files I am sending you now are the result of several tests after implementing the Hondata calibration.
With the current Hondata calibration, I am 0.7 seconds slower than with my previous KTuner calibration.
I also reach a final speed of 218 km/h with Hondata, compared to 224 km/h with KTuner.
KTuner vs. Hondata:
I have been working with KTuner for 6 months to achieve my previous calibration.
This is only my third attempt with Hondata, and I am already close to my previous KTuner results, which shows the high potential of Hondata.
My only issue is that I am still learning how to use Hondata effectively. I am grateful for your assistance in this regard.
Additional Information:
The slope at the start of my acceleration is -0.5.
Request:
I kindly request that you review my calibration and log files to identify any potential areas for improvement. I am eager to learn more about using Hondata and optimizing my vehicle's performance.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.
