Hi,
Got the crower in JDM DC5R and tuned with Kpro. I don't seem to be able to lower the vtec cutover below 5500 rpm. I got the same problem using the supplied calibration. Any lower, the engine just won't cross over to high cam smoothly, it seems to get choke at the lower cross over point.
Anyone has managed to drop it lower? What tuning points should I be looking at to bring it to 5000rpm?
Thanks in advance!

don't try and aim for the lowest point. You'll need to dyno the car and find out where the optimum point is.
I tuned a GSR once with to low compression and high lift cams and ended up moving VTEC to 6700.
Dyno without VTEC, then dyno with VTEC. Overlay the curves and the point that gives you most area under the curve is the best.
