breaking up issue
breaking up issue
Can someone please review this datalog? when i rev past 4k rpm the car breaks up and acts hesitant like a misfire. In the datalog it looks like its running lean at WOT. Could i just need a retune or maybe a fuel issue? Build is a k24/20 with a head package and cams. ported rbc j37 TB hybrid intake. 450 RDX injectors 350 AEM feul pump and E85. I am not in contact with the previous tuner and this issue just started.

Re: breaking up issue
It doesn't look like it is hesitating when you go wide open throttle as it is revving to 7000RPM. Where in the datalog are you having the issue?
Re: breaking up issue
3rd gear wide open throttle. It sputters and I can hear the exhaust pop while I’m at wot. It continues to pull but does not feel normal.
Re: breaking up issue
It is running a bit lean there, but I'm not sure what it was doing before. The best thing to do would be to discuss this with your tuner as it may just need some simple fine tuning.

Post the calibration file you are running and I can take a look at it. Have any changes been made since the car was tuned?FG2.MATT wrote: Thu Mar 07, 2024 5:20 am Can someone please review this datalog? when i rev past 4k rpm the car breaks up and acts hesitant like a misfire. I will post the calibration when I get home. Just a different cat back I believe. Today it started sputtering and I could hear the exhaust poping when when accelerating past 3k rpm. If I keep it under 3k rpm it doesn’t do it. I’ve done some research and someone said they had a similar problem and it was the Aem 340 fuel pump was getting to hot and not working correctly and causing the car to go lean under load. They told me to check the stock relay for the pump and it was so hot I could touch it for more than a few seconds. Could this possibly be my issue? To be fair it has been cooler temperatures and recently when the issue started the temperatures in Florida jumped to 90 degrees. Coincidence? idk.
