Hondata Pro Voltage

Post by claroz »

Hi
I`m searching for some info about voltage at high RPM. Over 7000 RPM what voltage the Kpro needs ?
Looking at the datalog I see 12.9 volts . Is this correct or we have an electrical problem. I check
all grounds an install a new main relay and battery. At the battery the voltmeter always shows through
the run 13.8 -13.9. But at the log I see at 3000 rpm 13.7 but as the engine revs up voltage goes down.
My question is : Which is the correct voltage that Kpro needs to work ok?
Our car its a Civic EG6 swap K20a 2 NA. Road course race car.

Kind Regards

Why is the VTEC going on and off constantly?

I check the program and Vtec is not enable. We run killer Vtec cams and we have Vtec and Vtc disable.
Is there something else I have to disable? Wil this be the problem for low voltage at High Rpm?

According to the datalog it is constantly going on and off, and it should not be doing this. The voltage also looks to be fluctuating as well.

Thank you for your support.
I disable Vtec and now its running better. What I see now is the Vtec is off but VPN on.
I don`t know what VPN is, and please forgive my ignorance.
Now I see its working better but don`t know if the voltage at high it`s right.
Let me sent you the log I did last night. My question will be about VPN.
In 10 days will be at a 6 hours race and I expect to finish with out any trouble.
Sent you a log. For us your advice is excellent.
Again many thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it as you have it disabled in your calibration.
