The version of the app is v1.6. The flashpro manager is on 4.2. Currently trying to troubleshoot this on a 19' and a 21' Type R. Is there a specific way to connect the flashpro to the headunit? Do I have to connect the flashpro to the headunit in the Bluetooth screen first then open the hondata pp? I'm just curious as to what the actual steps are. I also saw there is an alternative paring mode. What is that for?

Yes you must pair it within the Bluetooth settings of the headunit first. You may need the alternate pairing method selected in FlashPro manager with the FlashPro connected.

Ok. How do I set it up for alternate pairing? When I try to connect it to the bluetooth, it asks to verify the pin like any regular phone device. I'm not able to do that since the flashpro does not have a screen to verify it. Any ideas?

The settings are in FlashPRo manager on the Bluetooth tab. You must also make sure you set the pin to 1234.

Ok. But what about the Bluetooth pairing request? How do I get around that. It says to check the device to make sure the codes match. Not sure how to do that.

it does not need to do anything and should connect on it's own

In FlashPro Manager, in the Bluetooth tab, make sure that you have the PIN set to 1234. Also make sure that alternate pairing method is checked. You must do this before pairing the device in the Bluetooth settings of the head unit.

With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.
