8th gen si won't rev past 3k rpms

Post by retroluxx »

Hello! i have an 08 si sedan with a skunk2 CAI and i tried to tune a base map using flashpro, after tuning the car runs but it seems to have a soft limiter of 3,000 rpm's in every gear.
i also have the VSA light stuck on and the code p0102. does anyone know what to do? thanks

The code is for the MAF. Depending on how you have the calibration file setup the code can be disabled. Post the calibration file you are running along with a datalog so you can be better assigned.

A normal drive log. 5-10 minutes drive. Did you have this issues prior to flashing it with Hondata?

Sounds good. I took a quick glance at the calibration file and you are running a MAF based calibration. When you change the intake it is best to switch to a speed density calibration but you can make it work at part throttle. I looked over the code p0102 in more detail and it seems its a low voltage MAF code. Make sure the connection to the MAF was reconnected properly after the intake install.

awesome thank you, i'll be sure to get you those data logs tomorrow morning. i'll also look and make sure the MAF is properly connected. would you be able to recommend a speed density calibration for me to use later on?

Sounds good. In regards to a Map based calibration I would look into EFICU’s threads. I know you can get one running well with some adjustments.
