Newbie Looking for help for 2012 Civic

Post by dylan-wildman »

I’m new to tuning and looking for some help, I have a 2012 civic lx with a MT, with some light modification, a spectre short ram intake and borla cat back, however ever since i put on the air intake i’ve noticed the car falls on its face around 3k rpm whenever i give it gas, figuring as it’s getting more air flow because of the air intake. I also have a check emissions system notification/light. I’m just looking for something to get the car running right and to get rid of my PO171 code, however if i could get the little extra low end torque from the intake as well that would be cool. Thanks!

You will need to properly tune the AFM for the intake, or will need to tune via MAP based fuel tables.
