CEL when blue box/ecu is cold

Post by ECKSbloodECKS »

Im running a P72 with S200b in a 99 Integra GSR

Ive been getting a solid CEL when its cold outside. No red light in the blue box. I turn the heat on and after the interior heats up a bit, the CEL will go away, and red light is on in blue box.

Any ideas? Im thinking its a loose connection somewhere and when it heats up it expands alittle and makes enough contact, but wanted to see what you guys think.

Thanks.

One of the solder joints is 'cold' (makes sense, right?) Using a soldering iron 'touch up' all the solder joints in the ECU for the socket and latch. Use heat and a little new solder to make sure all the joints are good.
