Looking for a stock tune to unlock 2018 Civic Sport MT

Post by Dezza »

Hi everyone, I have misplaced my stock tune and I need it to unlock my flashpro. When setting it up with the car I selected 2017 honda civic sport as my car not knowing that the base map was for 100 octane fuel. Fuel which is not commonly available and shouldn't be on a base map IMO. I'm trying to fix this by loading a 2018 1.5 base map but I cannot because my flashpro thinks my vehicle is a 2017 civic sport hatch MT instead of a 2018 civic 1.5t. If anyone has any advice or a stock map they could send me i'd greatly appreciate it

With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.

basically I have a 2018 civic sport, I set my vehicle in flashpro as a 2017 civic sport because it had tunes for increased boost pressure and I figured because they were the same engine it would work.

I at some point added a tune to the secondary tune which removed my stock tune and I don't have the stock tune saved on my pc because this is a new pc and I didn't transfer it over.

I'd ideally like to get the stock tune back on the car for now. I would then save the stock tune to my new pc and unlock my flashpro so that I can change the vehicle to a 2018 civic instead of the 2017 civic sport. The base tune i'm on now is rated for 100 octane and i'd like to have it back to the sports standard 91 octane stock tune.

I'm planning to include this as my support request so if you need any additional info let me know. I was able to borrow a laptop and will be attempting to send the report shortly. Thank you for your time and support!

You can upload any calibration you want form the software that you see when you click the New Calibration button at the top of the software.

If you want to fully return to stock you must go to the online menu and use the return to stock option.

when I changed my vehicle from 2017 to 2018 it said a 2018 calibration cannot be uploaded to a 2017. So if I return the ecu to stock will that load my cars stock tune? I assumed it would just remove the tune from the primary calibration storage and if I tried to flash that onto my car it would flash nothing at all and brick the car. I must have misinterpreted the meaning of return to stock

What do you mean when you say you changed your vehicle from 2017 to 2018?

It does not look like you have tried to upload any calibration since updating the software.

my actual vehicle is a 2018, when setting up my flashpro I mistakenly selected 2017 so it thinks I have a 2017 instead of 2018. after sending the report I uploaded the latest 2017 base tune which seems to be the same as the 2018 based on the compare tool. I'm using a different pc to attempt to unlock the flashpro. I think I will try connecting to the car and choosing the return to stock option and then using that same pc to try and unlock the flashpro. Will that work?

You cannot change what it thinks your vehicle is. You can only upload calibrations that are compatible with your vehicle.

You need to plug in the FlashPro with the ignition in the on position, then open the software then click New Calibration choose from the calibrations that are automatically shown there. If you want to return to stock you must go to the Online menu and click the return ECU to stock option.

You can go back to the online menu and unlock from there. Only unlock if you are planning to sell it.

You should only unlock it if you are selling the vehicle or FlashPro.
