Ek W/k24a2 swap using CRV ecu no start.
Please hang in there with me as I am new to tuning much less hondata. I was a mechanic for 14 years, so I am mechanically inclined. I have searched and tried a few things that I have found online. To no avail. I will be reinstalling the harness in the next few days. I work weird long hours at work so work it's a bit slow going.
I am using a 03 CRV ecu Kpro4 installed by HA Motorsport (not that I think is a problem). I loaded the TSX base map and the car cranks. Fuel pump primes and builds pressure. I get no spark or fuel signal(using a noid light). It has a strong crank, I have retimed the engine, I have gone through the harness and checked for power and ground, as well as proper pinout in the harness for signal. Any suggestions on checking would be appreciated.
A few questions I have are as follows. I am sure there will be more to come.
How do I find the sensor data for the crank and cam triggers?
How do I select sensors for data logging?
Can we test fire coils and injectors via laptop?
Thank you in advance for any and all help.

Is the immobilizer enabled or disabled in your calibration?

Thank you for the sugestion. The immobilizer is turned off and the only code I got was for the heater circuit for the o2 sensor. I can't believe that that code would be the reason so I disabled the sensors for the time being.

Are you using a K24 or K20 crank sensor?

I am using the one that came on the auto crv harness that I converted to a manual harness per the vtec academy video. I have a k20 sensor that was going to be my next solution once I get it back in the car. I will wire it in and get back on this.

Doing research I found that the crv and rsx sensors are the same. So I changed it to the element/accord sensor. Wire harness should be going back in mid next week. At that time I'll have an update.

So after getting the harness back in the car and the crank sensor changed over I still have a no start condition. I still have no ignition or fuel. I have attempted to capture a datalog I'll start the log then crank the engine. I'll then stop the datalog and look for it to open up. I can not seem to find it. I have looked and it says that there is no logs.
How do I locate and play them?
Is there a minimum RPM that the ecu must see in order to send a signal?
Where do I look to see if the cam and crank is getting proper signals to trigger the firing?
How do I test fire the coils and injectors?
Have a great day,
jared

Do you have the immobilizer enabled or disabled in the calibration? If it is enabled, then disable it and reupload the calibration and try again.
If you still have problems, then I would recommend that you try your ECU on a known working vehicle at this point to see if it is the ECU or the vehicle that has the problem.

The immobilizer is turned off. I found a damaged wire in the cranksensor connector so I repaired it and still the same.
I was afraid that you were going to suggest that. I'll have to find some one locally to test it out.
How can I activate the injectors and coils via the laptop?
Is there a way I can check to see if the cam and crank sensors are getting a signal while cranking in kmanager?

There are no tests in the software for that. You will need to try the ECU on a known working vehicle.

Thank you. That's what I figured. I couldn't find anything. It would be super helpful if there was an ability to perform those tests in the software.
I am working on finding someone local, but unable to at this time. Thank you for all your help in the matter.
Have a great day,
Jared
